The initial anticipation lead up to the Lego Fest we attended in Milwaukee was so worth it.My kids all had favorite superheroes they wanted to pose with.We got there early so we could find a parking spot nearby which was really not very necessary as there was plenty of parking all around the Wisconsin center which was hosting the event.
We were allowed to enter ten or so minutes early standing in lines with red tissue across the gates for the families to break on the way in.The crew from Lego fest performed a skit to get the crowd synced up to enjoy the Festival. My kids were extremely anxious as was I to see the Lego figurines up close. They did not disappoint I was amazed by the sheer size of these amazing complicated characters.
Every type of Lego series that I know off.Had its own area to enjoy.Lots of hands-on play for the kids from the very popular Ninjago figurines after you built could be placed on a moving platform with a joystick for them to fight each other. To areas where there were competitions to build the tallest tower. In the model museum, a super cool glass showcase was accessible for my children to place their masterpiece in once created with their name alongside it.
Lots of huge figures of favorite characters that all kids and adults love. From the friend's collection to duplo for the younger children. There was something for any Lego lover to enjoy. We had a ton of fun sure hope we can enjoy it again next year.
